Location: Chino, CA

RGI Utility Consultants (RGI), a PROACTIVE company, is responsible for the dry utility planning and dry utility design coordination for a major warehouse/industrial site in the southeast area of Chino, California.  Specific tasks dealt with the expansion of all dry utility infrastructure to serve a previously dairy-land area.  New power sub-station and fiber-optic node locations were needed along with new backbone infrastructure in new roadways while keeping the existing dry utility facilities operational.

Highlights:

  • New Southern California Edison (SCE) substation and corresponding infrastructure
  • Planning and coordination for large power demands for the warehouse/industrial complexes
  • Conversion of SCE street lighting to new City of Chino street lighting during the project
  • Coordination for new fiber-optic nodes and serving areas
